The dancer Badeen and the pianist Marcos Souza joined their talents in a new performance of dance and music. Winds of Amsterdam narrate the spirit of the city through a chat between Badeens choreography and Marcoss compositions.
They dialogue about the sounds and the movement of the city day-by-day life: the winds, the birds, the tram and bikes, the bridges and traffic lights Those are the elements that inspired them to create the performance and present it alive together on stage, with the ambition to spread the winds far away. The play has 30 minutes, without pause, and can be divided in 7 acts (in this video, their performance at Engelenbak with 5 acts only and shorter than normal:
Act one: Winds
Act Three: The Bridge
Act Five: Bikes
Act Six: The Birds
Act Seven: Winds - The winds comes again
