Bringing the tradition of the Tarantella to the stage was a theatrical endeavor that combined popular and contemporary dance with the traditions of Greek tragedy, with special emphasis on the human body, the chorus, comedy and tragedy, and improvisation. In this way, the theater became a narrative vehicle telling a symbolic universal story; in this world where dance, music and acting coexist, the origins of the ritual, of death and rebirth through the sacred and the profane.
