"At the start of the creative process I decided that it was important for me to make a dance work that would be challenging for the students to perform. I chose to make a piece where all the performers would be on stage the whole time. I also chose to have the piece started before the audience would come in, which some times could take more then 15 minutes.
Concentration wise, it is a demanding piece. With cross-faded stories and imagery that triggers emotions and influences the quality and dynamic of the movement.
The students are asked to be themselves and not to adapt a character on stage.
An incredible process. And strongly performed"
